Reduce Belly Bulge

You hate that belly fat, the belly bulge that screams fat even when the rest of your body is not too bad.

You have been cranking out 30 or more crunches several times a day to no effect.  If anything your tummy seems to stick out even more. (Crunches done improperly can cause more protrusion.)

The pros say they have the answer. You need to increase the protein in your diet and you need to slow down.

That's right---slow down. 

The secret to reducing that belly bulge is to slow down.

Instead of concentrating on quickly churning out 30 or 40 or more belly crunches at a time, you need to concentrate on 1 at a time.

What you want to do is raise those shoulders to a count of 10 and then lower them to a count of 10. 

That is a measured 1 mississippi 2 mississippi count.

Remember to breathe in deeply when you raise the shoulders and exhale when you bring those shoulders back to the floor.

You just greatly magnified the effects of each crunch.

Because you are working the muscles more you are also working them deeper in the body so you get more power in the internal girdle. It is that internal girdle that has lost all of its power.  Not only is your stomach protruding but all your internal organs are just sloshing around.  The main purpose of the internal girdle is not to make you look good but to protect all the internal working parts.  That belly bulge is just a flag to let you know that you are in trouble.

You still need to set a goal of 30 crunches a day but now they need to be slower and more powerful.

Don't forget to load up on the water.  The more water you drink, the more toxins you can wash out of your body. Those toxins are released when the fat breaks down.  Besides the more water you drink, the less fluid you retain so therefore the fewer the numbers on the scale.
