Flatten Belly with Exercise Equipment
A few years ago I owned a treadmill. It had all the bells and whistles such as heart monitor and adjustable incline. I actually wore it out over a 5 year period of time. I used it almost every day. My daughter and husband used it once or twice a week.
When it finally died (replace the motor) we replaced it with a Bowflex. My husband had been drooling over the ads for a very long time. So as a Christmas present, one brand new Bowflex. We set it up - this thing needs about 6 foot of space to use all the extensions.
I found it to be time consuming and sometimes confusing to set up and then start to use it. This is something that needs its own space and needs to be set up and ready to go. I did not feel knowledgeable enough to know what to do with which part. So those excuses worked and I did not often use the thing. My husband used it even less using his own excuses.
We were saved from our excuses when my daughter and her children moved into our house and the Bowflex extensions were put into storage and the base was stuck in a corner disguised as a plant hanger. There was simply no space to put it in which it could be used.
Now my daughter is moving out and we will have one room in which to put all the exercise equipment. It will be our home gym. We have punching bags, one large and one small. The small one was prescribed by my doctor to strengthen my back. We have a small exercise trampoline and the large exercise ball. We have bands and videos up the wazoo. All these things have been collected and then resigned to storage because of space problems and mostly because no one was using them. As each daughter saw a new program, wanted it and promised to use it, we bought it. So I look at it as a 4 year stocking program for our Home Gym.
I mentioned the other day that I would like another treadmill. Guess what? -- there is no space to put a treadmill with all the other stuff in the exercise room.
Oh yes, can you flatten your belly using exercise equipment. A resounding yes with a big but, not butt, you will have to use the equipment for more than a plant hanger.
until next time
