I am a wife, mom,and grandma. I worked at a hospital for years — watching people literally lose parts of themselves to disease. I watched them go thru painful rehab to learn how to move after surgery, stroke and heart attack.
Our bodies were designed to move, to reach, to grasp, to run, to lift, to hug. Sitting in a chair is not moving. Stuffing your stomach with chips and dip is not healthy moving.
I believe that getting healthy and strong and fit can happen at any age. I believe that slow is ok as long as it is a steady movement to improve. I believe that we should use every resource available to achieve our goals and our goals should be magnificent.
